LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LOCAL LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CHIEFWARE OR ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST DATA, OR DOWNTIME COSTS), ARISING OUT OF THE USE, INABILITY TO USE, OR THE RESULTS OF USE OF THE SOFTWARE, WHETHER BASED IN WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. 

The software can be used on a single computer only. Exception: If you have 1 license of Chief Architect and you transfer the lock from machine to machine (IE: work machine to home machine) then you may install the software on both machines.

YOU MAY NOT MODIFY, ADAPT, TRANSLATE, RENT, LEASE, LOAN, RESELL FOR PROFIT, DISTRIBUTE OR CREATE DERIVATIVE WORKS BASED UPON THE SOFTWARE OR ANY PART THEREOF. 

Any and all copyright notices must remain intact and must never be modified at any time. 

This software is licensed as a single component. You may not separate and/or use any part of it for any other purposes.

You may not sell this software unless under a reseller program defined by us. This includes any modified or altered versions.

Ownership. The Software is copyrighted by, proprietary to and a trade secret of ChiefWare and AdvanceWare Inc. AdvanceWare Inc. retains the title, ownership and intellectual property rights in and to the Software and all subsequent copies regardless of the form or media. The Software is protected by the copyright laws of the United States and international copyright treaties. 

This License is not a sale of the Software. 

If you violate any part of this EULA, you can be held responsible for any monetary and non-monetary damages which may result.

This agreement and warranty are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, U.S.A.
