The Garage Door Wizard is a Windows application
that allows you to create garage doors from parts. You drag and
drop parts to create the garage door, preview it, and then create the
symbol. You then import the symbol into Chief Architect
(requires Chief Architect with
Symbol Import abilities. See below on how to check)
Can also save the doors in any format of AutoCAD
DWG or DXF from Version 10 to 2004.
For a video tutorial on the wizard,

Below is a animated image of the program being used
(Your browser settings may determine if
you are able to see the animation).

The Garage Door wizard comes with 121 parts that allow
you to create thousands of combinations of door styles.

An example showing 2 very unique garage doors
created very easily in the garage door wizard.
There are many version of Chief Architect
available. In order to use this you need a version that has the
Create Symbol option. Below is a screenshot from Chief 9.54 to
show where it is located in the menu.
